Dr. Alice Evatt, is an Australian research fellow at Oxford Net Zero, an initiative from University of Oxford that brings together researchers across disciplines to develop science-based, equitable approaches for achieving global net zero emissions and sustainable development. Her work focuses on assessing the credibility of net zero strategies in the fossil fuel sector.
With expertise in climate ethics, climate policy, carbon management, and engineered carbon dioxide removal, she has played a key role in European carbon management policy, including leading Oxford’s contribution on EU carbon management policy and the commercial potential of carbon dioxide removal technologies as part of the EU Horizon 2020 NEGEM project.
