How to Join: 4 Simple Steps

Submit Your Application: Enter your email address and click Next to access the online application form. Fill in your details and select your preferred membership tier. (See full membership options and conditions below.)

Executive Committee Review: In accordance with our Statutes, your application will be reviewed and voted on by the Executive Committee .

Receive Your Invoice: Once approved, we will email you your confirmation along with your membership invoice.

Welcome to GEF! Submit your payment to activate your membership and gain full access to events and the internal directory.
Individual Membership – Pay-As-You-Go | CHF 240 / year

Ideal for: Energy professionals seeking flexibility.

Details: Annual membership is CHF 240 (pro rata temporis). Members pay a reduced fee of CHF 110 per regular GEF conference (includes lunch/dinner). Rates for special events may vary.

Requirements: Applicants must be nominated by two current GEF members and approved by the Executive Committee .

Renewal: Automatically renews annually.
Individual Membership – All-Inclusive | CHF 800 / year

Ideal for: Active energy professionals who attend events regularly.

Details: CHF 800 covers access to all GEF-organized conferences and events throughout the year. (Note: Non-attendance is non-refundable, and pro rata rates do not apply).

Requirements: Applicants must be nominated by two current GEF members and approved by the Executive Committee .

Academic Institution Membership | CHF 800 / year

Ideal for: Universities, research bodies, and academic institutions.

Details: Allows the institution to send one designated delegate to any GEF event throughout the year.

Renewal: Automatically renews annually.
Corporate Membership – One Seat | CHF 1,400 / year

Ideal for: Companies, industry associations, and NGOs.

Details: Grants one transferable seat. Corporate members can send any senior staff member as a Delegate, or a senior business associate as a Guest, to any GEF event. Delegates/Guests enjoy event access without needing individual member status and do not need to be the same person each time.

Renewal: Automatically renews annually.
All memberships automatically renew on an annual basis. Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 15 days prior to your annual renewal date.
